Currently for their main offices in Warsaw we are looking for a Regulation Lead Expert. Your main accountabilities in this role will be:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><u>Liaison with Energy Regulatory Office:<\/u>\n<ol>\n<li>Contacts with URE concerning special inquiries\/questions\/interpretations;<\/li>\n<li>Leading auctions processes: prequalification, registering, coordination of bank guarantees\/deposits;<\/li>\n<li>Managing bidding process, including project registration on IPA, ensuring connections, bid verification, offer submission.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all post auction processes, including bank guarantees\/deposits withdrawn, reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Managing processes related to Generation Licenses (obtaining new \/ adjusting existing ones)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><u>Regulatory\/ Lobbying<\/u><\/li>\n<li>Through the presence in wind associations, elaborate wording proposal of regulatory adjustments supporting wind and PV sectors within:\n<ol>\n<li>RES Act<\/li>\n<li>Location Law<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol>\n<li>Supplementary acts, including:\n<ul>\n<li>Ordinance on GC\u2019s quota \u2013 monitoring and forecasting GC\u2019s behavior in relation to quota set up;<\/li>\n<li>Ordinance on volumes and values \u2013 including calculation of budgets proposals for auctions;<\/li>\n<li>Ordinance on reference prices \u2013 provide review and justified feedback<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Elaborate periodical information to internal stakeholders concerning regulatory status and expected evaluation.<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain relations with key stakeholders, including government decision makers and key administration officers (URE, UDT etc).<\/li>\n<li>Active participation (preparation and presentation of position supporting RES sector development) in governmental and commissions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong><u>ACADEMIC LEVEL<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Economics<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong><u>REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>At least 5 years in Strategy or Management Consulting (in energy area) or in an industrial company in departments linked to strategy, energy planning, regulation or trading.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>LANGUAGES<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Polish<\/li>\n<li>English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>SKILLS \/ COMPETENCES<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Strong analytical skills, well-rounded modelling capabilities; Knowledge of electricity sector and regulatory functioning.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our client is one of the leading investors in solar and wind projects in the world with a solid presence in Poland.
