As main role as\u00a0 a Design Engineer will be provide engineering support on rooftop and ground mounted solar energy installations as PV designer of solar PV\u00a0 including:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Ownership of all generic technical documents relating to mechanical and electrical design.<\/strong> REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n Electrical Engineering background<\/p>\n Experience with software to design solar PV solutions – Helioscope, PV syst, PV sol or equivalent<\/p>\n Minimum 3 years of experience as electrical designer<\/p>\n Autocad (Electrical schemes)<\/p>\n Qualifications to stamp\/sign electrical projects<\/p>\n Qualified in an Engineering Discipline or the equivalent working experience with an electrical bias<\/p>\n Experience electrical wiring design yield calculation<\/p>\n Experience of renewable generation and rooftop solar<\/p>\n Excellent communication skills.<\/p>\n Analytical and project management skills.<\/p>\n Availability to travel.<\/p>\n Results oriented, organised and able to prioritise the objectives set.<\/p>\n Polish Native and English language fluent<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Our client is one of the most promising roof top and utility scale investor in Europe with over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy sector. \n\u2022Work within the technical team and with suppliers and sub-contractors in the development and delivery of technical solutions. This is to include electrical calculations, surveying, shading analysis and PV Syst modelling.
\n\u2022 Provide conceptual designs, yield forecasts and financial forecasts.
\n\u2022 Support design and technical colleagues with site surveys and feasibility assessments
\n\u2022 To manage the development of cost effective design and engineering solutions and deliver complete design packages for project proposals (including tenders)
\n\u2022 Production of technical specifications and drawings using AutoCAD
\n\u2022 Management of technical relationships with sub-contractors, funders and Distribution Network Operators
\n\u2022 To be ensure full compliance with quality and H&S systems
\n\u2022 Support the specification of components for the procurement process
\n\u2022 Support the commissioning of completed systems and the related\u00a0 testing process
\n\u2022 Where required liaise with the client on technical matters including system handover, Roofit registration, application and export meters;
\n\u2022 Provide quality advice and installation support where required during construction phase
\n\u2022 Assist in the survey of potential future projects
\n\u2022 Represent the company at external events where required
\n\u2022 Ensure due diligence with DSO in collaboration with Field Services Team ( prepare aplication and\u00a0 Interact with DSO to ensure requirements of interconnection and adjustments in project after DSO feedback;<\/p>\n
