Our client is a world known construction giant specialised in renewable energy large scale projects. Currently for their growing offices in Romania, they are looking for a Logistics Supervisor. Initially you will be responsible for a solar project near Cluj Napoca. The company will cover the expenses of your stay and transport in that location when required.<\/p>\n

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS POSITION:<\/p>\n

Manage processes that determines the best mode of transport and select the best carrier to meet the OTIF (on time in full) requirement for shipments Ensure the development and continual improvement of systems and procedures for operating and managing human resources, information, physical facilities, and equipment<\/p>\n

Conduct weekly meeting to identify, prioritize, and aggregate delivery requirements, balance delivery resources with delivery requirements and establish delivery plans
\nHandle warehouse management from receiving and verifying materials Manage the Order Fulfillment Center and define the standards of operations for the lubricants colleagues within the Order Fulfillment Center<\/p>\n

Review or work processes and procedures to ensure internal control measures meet the audit requirements
\nManage customer service levels and implement processes and procedures to meet the customer\u2019s expectation and reporting of OTIF
\nIdentify and pursue cost reduction opportunities, through constant review of processes to achieve the lowest operating costs for out-bound activities Manage and improve organizational capability and team work and creating synergies across all core functions
\nHigh School Degree with five or more years of experience in manufacturing orBachelor\u2019s degree orequivalent military experience<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Supervisory, training or special project experience
\nWilling and able to work nights, holidays, or week-ends as needed
\nTwo-year technical degree or higher in a related field
\nMinimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience while working in an industrial or manufacturing environment
\nExperience working in a unionized facility and\/or knowledge and understanding of union\/labor relations and how to resolve employee concerns and issues
\nMechanical aptitude specifically pertaining to the finishing and shipping areas of operation (roll line, kicker, lift trucks)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
