{"id":2586,"date":"2023-01-09T15:14:54","date_gmt":"2023-01-09T14:14:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kalerecruitment.com\/?p=2586"},"modified":"2023-02-06T14:08:18","modified_gmt":"2023-02-06T13:08:18","slug":"om-engineer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kale2.kalerecruitment.com\/en\/om-engineer\/","title":{"rendered":"O&#038;M ENGINEER"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our client is one of the largest players in the offshore sector and we are now looking for O&amp;M Engineer.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>GENERAL DESCRIPTION<\/p>\n<p>Integrated in an Offshore Renewables project you will be responsible for managing the current project assets and supporting definition of O&amp;M strategy and implementation of contracts.<\/p>\n<p>MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the O&amp;M of the project\u2019s existing assets: offshore met mast, onshore met mast and offshore Lidar:<\/li>\n<li>Establishing O&amp;M requirements, implement and manage a multi-contracting strategy for this purpose.<\/li>\n<li>Manage cost control, H&amp;S requirement, spare parts warehouse, inventory, stock levels, etc. &#8211; Manage contractors (vessel and personnel) works, ensuring contracts are in place complying with project and company policies.<\/li>\n<li>Implement an O&amp;M strategy and support the project to achieve O&amp;M readiness. This means: Ensure OEM and Owner \u0301s Maintenance Requirements are aligned and ready to be implemented in the project (especially at design level) Support on the definition of the O&amp;M strategy for the project, including set up of ports, offshore access strategy, labor, etc.ACADEMIC BACKGROUND\n<p>Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.<\/p>\n<p>LANGUAGES<\/p>\n<p>The project has an international team of employees and the working language is English.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates need to be fluent in English both spoken and written. Other languages will be highly valued.<\/p>\n<p>PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Between 2 and 5 years\u2019 experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in offshore wind projects on operations and preferably in O&amp;Mmodeling and definition of maintenance strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in contract negotiation and management.KNOWLEDGE<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge and experience in wind turbine technology is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Experienced user of MS office suite.<\/li>\n<li>Experienced in C++ or Matlab is a plus.SKILLS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<ul>\n<li>Support OpEx optimization processes.<\/li>\n<li>Support negotiations and closing O&amp;M service contracts with several OEMs, ISPs andPorts.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the development and later the construction of the operational O&amp;M Base.<\/li>\n<li>Good communications skills, ability lead work streams and to report to projectmanagement.<\/li>\n<li>Analytical thinking, pro activeness, organization and team spirit.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage priorities and flexibility to adapt to changing organizational needs.<\/li>\n<li>Mature judgment and discretion, dependability and strong work ethic.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Be a team player as although the candidate will be expected to be able to work on theirown they will also need to work as part of a cross departmental\/international team.\n<p>OTHER REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n<p>Location in Warsaw or Gdynia, but travelling to supplier&#8217;s facilities and offices, local construction ports and constructions sites may be required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our client is one of the largest players in the offshore sector and we are now looking for O&amp;M Engineer.
