For their Italian operations they are currently looking for a Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience reporting to the Director of PM of the Medditerranean Region.<\/p>\n
The Project Manager manages and controls the project in terms of time, cost and quality from the point of handover from Sales up until handover to the client and Service.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In this position you will be responsible for:<\/span><\/p>\n Support the Sales organization in the final stages of tender processes and facilitate a smooth handover from Sales to Project Management\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \uf0b7 Execution of comprehensive projects on-time, within budget and to good quality\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \uf0b7 Manage and monitor all aspects of environment, health and safety\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \uf0b7 First contact for all parties involved in the project such as client, subcontractors, suppliers and any other internal or external party\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \uf0b7 Representing the organization to our clients \u2013 creating a good relationship with the client and delivering customer satisfaction\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \uf0b7 Negotiations and with subcontractors and suppliers as well as contract management of both\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \uf0b7 Responsible for contract and claim management towards clients and subcontractors\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \uf0b7 Manage personnel and provide strong control of subcontractors and key suppliers suppliers including but not limited to erection and transportation companies throughout the project execution phase\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \uf0b7 Securing correct project handling and creating a successful team with team members from various departments such as central engineering, logistics, site management, commissioning engineer, erection supervisors\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \uf0b7 Secure project configuration in SAP, secure supply chain by following up component procurement and availability with regards to the project schedule\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \uf0b7 Monitor and safeguard required level of quality throughout erection, finishing and commissioning works within given budget and time frame\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \uf0b7 Define and initiate appropriate corrective actions for problems encountered during the execution of the project (related to cost, time and\/or quality)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \uf0b7 Creating necessary transparency with regards to an optimization of cost-effectiveness in cooperation with Commercial Project Management.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \uf0b7 Work within the company\u00b4s processes to manage and report progress on project with a monthly status report\u00a0<\/span>incl. reporting to the Area PM with regards to HSE, quality, cost, progress of the works, claims, installed equipment and quality\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \uf0b7 Manage and report KPIs\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \uf0b7 Facilitate a smooth handover to colleagues in Service, at the same time as handover to the client\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \uf0b7 Frequent travel within Italy and abroad is part of the job\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \uf0b7 Coordinate the schedule of Site Managers and ensure that Site Mangers working hours are within the limits according to local law\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In the ideal candidate we are looking for:<\/span><\/p>\n Minimum 5 years of experience as Project Manager in operative project execution and construction management for complex technical projects either in civil construction, manufacturing and plant engineering industry, the wind energy sector and\/or similar industries\/energy sectors; experience with turnkey projects preferable\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \uf0b7 Experience in project management incl. full responsibility for multi-million EUR contracts with strong commercial and financial acumen\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n EDUCATION<\/span><\/p>\n \uf0b7 Technical background with a Bachelor\u2019s and\/or Master\u2019s degree in engineering\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \uf0b7 Excellent English language skills\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \uf0b7 Excellent computer skills are require\u00a0<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Our client is one of the main leaders in the wind energy industry in Italy and the world For their Italian operations they are currently looking for a Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience reporting to the Director of PM of the Medditerranean Region.
