The Head of Project Management (Head of PM) is responsible for managing the portfolio of projects in the Business Unit, leading a team of project managers, giving them guidelines, according to company\u2019s strategy, with the aim of guaranteeing the projects are carried out under the best practices in order to contribute to the successful fulfillment of the business plan.
\nMAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
\n\u2022 PROJECTS MANAGEMENT
\no Manage the projects\u2019 execution, from the engineering to the handover to Asset
\nOperation department, according to the company\u2019s procedures.
\no Ensure the highest quality standards are upheld throughout the project\u2019s life cycle.
\no Mentor, challenge and accompany Project Managers in carrying out the assigned
\nprojects, ensuring the fulfillment of the budget and the timeline.
\n\u2022 COORDINATION
\no Manage and establish effective relationships with the main internal and external
\nstakeholders to minimize conflicts and risks for the projects.
\no Supervise and coordinate company\u2019s teams involved for each organic project phase
\n(engineering, development, construction, purchasing, financing, M&A, Energy
\nassessment, environment, legal consultancy…), in order to ensure the complete
\ncoordination of all tasks and the fulfillment of the budget and the timeline.
\no Supervise and coordinate company\u2019s teams involved for the due diligence of the acquiring projects, in order to ensure the complete coordination of all tasks.
\n\u2022 BUSINESS PLAN AND BUDGET ELABORATION
\no Supervise the projects\u2019 return appraisal (modelling) in coordination with the relevant
\ncompany\u2019s department (M&A).
\no Supervise the budgeting, controlling and reporting of the projects in accordance with
\nthe company\u2019s Business Plan and in coordination with the relevant company\u2019s department
\n(M&A, P&C, ACT).
\no Identify deviations from the Business Plan and\/or the budget and propose corrective
\nmeasures.
\no Propose and support investment in those areas in order to achieve the objectives
\ndefined for the business unit.
\n\u2022 KNOWLEDGE OF THE COMPETENCE SECTOR
\no Identify and forge potential cooperation with other companies, developers,
\ncompetitors and supplier, understanding in great detail the renewable market in Italy,
\nknowing competitors and the main participants in this business (included Wind Turbine
\nand PV module supplier, Electrical and Civil Works contractors and suppliers,
\nengineering advisors)
\no Foresee risks and threats to guarantee the Company\u2019s competitive position.
\n\u2022 INSTITUTIONAL REPRESENTATION
\no Represent the Company before TSO and DSO and other organizations in the sector,
\nand before Public Administration and Elected people with the aim of defending the
\nCompany\u2019s strategic interests.
\n\u2022 TEAM MANAGEMENT:
\no Manage and exercise leadership, setting objectives and responsibilities, encourage
\nand motivate staff to strengthen the commitment to the company.<\/p>\n
o Coaching and mentoring the team members to promote skills
\nimprovement and an adequate professional growth
\no Apply and promote best practices among the team members
\nREQUIREMENTS:
\n– Master Degree in Engineering
\n– Languages: Italian and fluent English. Spanish is considered a plus.
\n– 8-12 years\u2019 experience in renewable projects management and in the management of
\ncomplex teams
