In the global product strategy department at \u00a0you will work with a young and highly motivated team of strategic product managers to improve our current and future product portfolio of wind turbines. The main goal is to ensure a high competitiveness of our products and to deliver them in time, cost and quality to the market including all customer, market and certification requirements. You will work cross-functionally and globally within the compay, at the interface between markets, engineering, supply chain and many more.<\/p>\n<p>Your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support and manage technical feasibility studies of future product concepts together with an interdisciplinary project team<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and run product development decisions with top management, including business case, technical concept, market introduction concept and market requirements<\/li>\n<li>Participate in interdisciplinary turbine development programs ensuring and contributing to a successful product result<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and moderate strategic decision proposals for top-management and board level<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to shape the company&#8217;s global product strategy by running market and requirement studies, competitiveness assessments and scenario analysis<\/li>\n<li>Support in optimizing important customer projects<\/li>\n<li>Regular benchmarking and reporting of competitor products<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating global search for potential prototyping test sites<\/li>\n<li>Many more ad-hoc strategic tasks directly from top management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Your Profile<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical and\/or commercial university degree, ideally with several years of relevant experience in product management, product development or strategy in an industrial environment<\/li>\n<li>Excellent academic records (Master\/Diploma) and letter of recommendation<\/li>\n<li>Entrepreneurial and strategic mind-set, personality with demonstrated ability to drive topics to success in a complex environment<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical and communicational skills and thorough technical understanding<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to travel<\/li>\n<li>Profound knowledge in MS Office and ideally basic programming skills<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English<\/li>\n<li>Location: Hamburg or Rostock<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The company offers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A competitive salary and benefits package<\/li>\n<li>Bonus for performance<\/li>\n<li>Lunch and transport discount vouchers<\/li>\n<li>Trainings<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our client, one of the leaders in product development and manufacturing within the wind energy sector, is now looking for a Product Manager to become part of the product strategy division.
