RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n Manage the design process of the assigned projects within the concerned geography, providing technical support both to the development phase, the contracting and construction phase, in accordance with the directives of applicable regulations, to guarantee the minimization of costs, compliance with deadlines and quality requirements of the projected assets. Oversee projects through plans, setting timetables and budgets and coordinating team of engineers on design lead.<\/span><\/p>\n DEVELOPMENT ENGINEERING:<\/span><\/strong> Coordinate the preparation of technical projects for the development of renewable energy generation PV plants and electrical interconnection infrastructure, ensuring compliance with the conditions established by the business units, other technical departments or external agents, to ensure maximum efficiency in the development of such projects.\u00a0 Select the specialized external engineering companies. \u00a0Provide technical support to the development phase when required.<\/span><\/p>\n ELECTRICAL INTERCONNECTION COMMON INFRASTRUCTURE DESIGN:<\/span><\/strong> Participate in the design of the electrical infrastructure of the generation plants for the interconnection to the electric network common infrastructure with other developers\/operators; prepare the required documentation for grid access and connection applications and grid code compliance; provide technical support in the consenting process.<\/span><\/p>\n TECHNICAL STANDARDIZATION<\/span><\/strong>: Coordinate and ensure the development and application of technical standardization in the concerned geography, applying the best practices in the sector to ensure maximum efficiency in the construction and operation of facilities<\/span><\/p>\n TENDER ENGINEERING<\/span><\/strong>: Coordinate the preparation of technical packages to deliver to Procurement for the construction Request for Proposals (RfPs) of renewable energy generation PV plants and electrical interconnection infrastructure.\u00a0 Provide support to the Procurement Department in the clarifications discussions with bidders and award negotiations when required, in order to guarantee the best technical-economic conditions in the awards.<\/span><\/p>\n PROJECT HANDOVER TO CONSTRUCTION<\/span><\/strong>: Make an optimum transfer of projects under Engineering responsibility to the Construction unit, in order to optimize the construction start-up times, guaranteeing the coordination and technical quality in the handover of the project. Assist in the evaluation and resolution of any proposed modifications of the final engineering project raised during the construction phase, in order to ensure the preservation of the technical standards of the project.<\/span><\/p>\n DD LOCAL SUPPORT:<\/span><\/strong> Provide support to the due diligence process for new projects under study within the concerned geography, assisting with all the aspects that need to be managed locally for the optimum technical assessment, CapEx estimation and risk assessment.<\/span><\/p>\n COMPANY POLICY AND LEGAL COMPLIANCE:<\/span><\/strong> Understand and apply policies to prevent occupational hazards, environment and quality to ensure implementation and compliance on tasks under their responsibility.<\/span><\/p>\n Minimum requirements of the position<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Qualification: <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Master of Science (Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering)<\/span><\/p>\n A postgraduate in Renewable Energies will be valued<\/span><\/p>\n Experience: <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n At least 4 year of experience in Solar PV Power Plants<\/span><\/p>\n Experience with Solar PV Power Plants in the country dealing with the stakeholders for the development and construction of the projects.<\/span><\/p>\n Specific requirements:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Solar PV Plants<\/span><\/p>\n Knowledge of International technical normative<\/span><\/p>\n Languages: English <\/span><\/p>\n Other:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Ability to perform duties in a collaborative, multi-national working environment<\/span><\/p>\n High attention to detail<\/span><\/p>\n Strong statistical and analytical skills<\/span><\/p>\n Solved-problems and open-minded attitude<\/span><\/p>\n Communicative and sociable<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Our client is one of the most rapidly growing solar and energy storage investors in the country.
